Mr. Kazi Ahsan Khalil is the Chairman, Board of Directors of National Finance PLC.

Mr. Khalil brings more than 37 years of distinguished experience in the banking sector, including 19 years in senior management roles at leading banks in Bangladesh. Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in corporate leadership, business development, sustainability, corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Before assuming the role of Chairman, Mr. Khalil served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Meghna Bank PLC. Since 2016, he has also held the position of Deputy Managing Director at NRB Commercial Bank PLC, Modhumoti Bank PLC, Premier Bank PLC, and NRB Bank PLC, contributing significantly to their strategic growth and institutional development.

In recognition of his longstanding contributions to Bangladesh’s banking sector, Mr. Khalil has received numerous professional accolades for his leadership and service. He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of Dhaka.

As Chairman, Mr. Khalil provides strategic leadership to the Board, drawing on his extensive banking experience to strengthen corporate governance, support prudent oversight, and create sustainable value for its stakeholders.
